This is the worst time to take a Vacay but I do it every year .. I love going to Destin ,Fl.. I always dodge a bullet going there for Labor day but the prices are so cheap its had to not to go. My whole Fam. goes so its kind of like Christmas during the summer. Hopefully This Tropical Depression dosent goto Fl. it just keeps going to the Left to the Left. My fingers are crossed ..

First there was Lady Gaga.. We get it she’s supposed to dress wild, be out there, get noticed! Then all of a sudden normal Nicki Minaj is dressing like a damn crazy person.. Almost like Lady Gaga di about 2 years ago…WHY???? Then Kate Perry starts dressing like she’s in cartoons?!?!?! Just this past Sunday she had a block of cheese on her head for the MTV VMAs. Plus, I just saw a picture of her dressed up in a little drummer boy outfit!! What is going on here?!?!? Then, guess who comes to save the day? Rihanna!! She was dressed like a superstar… in a power outfit!! Looking great.. She doesn’t have to have a block of cheese on her head or anything crazy like that! I hope the pop stars get it together and dress the part.. The little ones are watching!

When there is a really bad storm they take the name out of the storm rotation.  Katrina’s name was of course taken out and replaced with Katia.  Katia is now a tropical storm in the Atlantic and it looks like it’s gonna be a doozy.  What are the odds it will enter the gulf?  It is that time of year so maybe.  Let’s hope not.

This marsh fire was bad enough yesterday… But, today it really could harm people with breathing issues!! Why can’t they wait until the wind is blowing over a NON populated area of the city? Whoever is in charge of this should be fired with no questions!! This is not good and somebody should get to the bottom of this ASAP!!

Is there another edition of the 4th grade dramam breaking out with in the Pop/Hip-Hop world? Lil Wayne, Beyonce, & Jay-Z… All of this over “BABY” money… You would expect this from NEW artists coming up in the industry not 3 well know, HUGE stars… So to that i say grown the —- up… Really?? Put your hands up and the gunz down.. You know where this is going if somebody doesn’t back upa nd be cool..

One of the struggles I have as a parent is teaching my daughter to say she is sorry and meaning it.  It’s so difficult because I hear other parents tell their kids to “say you’re sorry” for whatever they have done.  The thing I notice is that they don’t tell them why they should be sorry.  Even if you give a quick example of why they should I don’t know if kids actually understand.

I try to make my daughter understand why she did whatever she did was wrong.  I see so many adults who have to apologize for things and it’s never sincere.  They either don’t care or understand how their actions or words hurt others.  Hopefully by teaching my young daughter about her actions she will grow into an adult who can admit when she is wrong and seek forgiveness.

After a trip back to see my family this past weekend, I noticed it’s happening all over the place.. When your flight is at C-15, or A-22 they make you pass everyone of the stores in that terminal…Is it just my imagination or do the airlines do this on purpose?? They want you to walk past every one of their stores and possibly buy something… I don’t remember it being this bad before. On Friday Night in Atlanta I had to go from A-49 all the way to T-1 after a 20 minute walk to a terminal I didn’t even know they had before, and a tram ride I got there. Oh I didn’t buy anything!!! LOLOLOL.. Is it just me or have you have this experience?

I knew this day would come and now it is time to bring my 5year old  to school .Im not even going to front I cried my eyes out when I droped him off at school today .  He has been with me every day sence he was born . I work at night so I saved a whole bunch of money keeping him home with me .plus I can teach him myself.  Well he is no longer with me in the day . .. I miss him already . but thats LIFE you have to let your kids do there own thing or they will be scared to do anything .  I was very blessed to have him every day . He’ll do good . I raised him right . I love my baby boy .

I think I turned  into one of thoes parents that wants to give his kid a cell phone at 5 …. Ok its like this  .. I work at night so Ive been with my Baby BOy since day one   EVEY DaY . He starts school next week . Im freaking out ..lol   If something goes down he can call me anytime .. Everybody thinks he is too young to have one .. Im still going to think about getting him one ..

Stevie came to work with a cold and ever since then it’s been one big germ factory.  I got sick and then our promotions guy got sick.  How is it so easy to spread germs? I’ve been walking around squirting purell in my hands every 5 minutes so I don’t infect anyone else. BLAH GERMS!
